One oddity you missed is that Saturn will swim in a bowl of water. A very big one, though. Even the one your mom uses when she makes a "little salad for the garden party with your neigbours" won't be enough (although one could reasonably drown a cat in it).
One could argue the rings were put there in all their glamour just to distract the emotionally attached visitor from the very fact that Saturn would fight drowning like mad. like a cat.
