That's from Red Dwarf!
Rimmer, one of the characters who is a bit of a smeg head, keeps sitting exams and failing. One time, he wrote all the answers he thought he'd need all over his body...
This bit isn't in the television series, but is in the books and audio novels...
Have you listened to the audio novels, read by Chris Barrie, Greebo?

Either that or I've brainwashed her!
We were watching "Red Dwarf" on UK Gold last night and the episode from series 7 with Ace Rimmer para-srufing on the crocodile was shown. Christopher loves that episode and was crying with laughter!
How's Stooby and married life by the way?

The Researcher formally known as Dr St Justin Posted Jun 5, 2000
I'm sure it is in the series - I must have seen that episode at least a couple of times. Rimmer smudges all the writing on his arm when he pushes his sleeve up, then writes something like 'I'm a fish' on the exam paper, and faints. Or something like that.
