As with other forms of life, there are many different type of fishermen. Apart from the ones already mentioned in the forum dedicated to fishermen, there are those who fish to make a living. Hauling on a freezing line, on a heaving trawler, in a force nine gale, is a somewhat different lifestyle from poncing around in a pub dressed in tigh-waders. I think you must have meant "anglers"!

You're absolutely right mate. Maybe one of us should write an article for submission called Fishermen and ask them to change the title on the beatifully written, informative but unfortunately titled Entry we are discussing. It would be something to do out on the boat between hauls.
