Grand, Floh...
*takes one...*
I am starting really to feel bad, not having made any further suggestions for a Southgerman Meetup... And my calender is quite full - going to England in two weeks time, and I´ll be gone the last two weeks in July as well I´m looking forward to that...

Any time so far, we have no holidays booked yet.
Somewhere, way back, I think I made some suggestions as to what we could do, but I can't find it. In the "2001" thread, a search will lead you to a posting, but when you get there it has been moderated. I thought all the German postings were back on line again? Who's still sitting on a batch out there?
I will post my list of suggestions (can't find it on the GerMania Yahoo Group either - it must be somewhere!!!! )
It involved things like a steam train ride from Neustadt, sight seeing in Speyer, a course in Pfälzisch, hiking through the Pfälzerwald. I had suggested three different programmes. Can anyone else find it or make suitable suggestions. €'s organisation last time is a hard act to follow!
However, a few friends and I went to the Pub Quiz at Sean O'Treacy's in Karlsruhe last Wednesday and it really is a great evening out. Food and Drink are good, too. The questions are REALLY HARD.
So - who would like to come to that another Wednesday?
Have fun in England, €.

Hey! Yes! I love the quiznight at Sean O´Tracys... Tell me which Wednsday, and I´ll be there
And I don´t think it was that much organizing... it was getting you organize yourself, that did the trick

You can´t get it yet... I posted in some forum, that I want to have it possible, and they said it was on the ideas list...

There's an € on my keyboard that does work! Try pressing Ctrl-Alt-E even if it's not printed on yours, perhaps your Keyboard driver already recognises the shortcut

As to the pub quiz thing... I would very much like to join, but Wednesdays are somewhat complicated I'd need to file a day off

I don't know what other way to do it.
According to http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/GuideML-Characters, the code for GuideML is , which I used in my entry on the Euro. I shall just have to cut and paste from your postings here.
