Me watched tiswas... all the time... but me not rememberit all...

Most of what I can remeber is already in the article. But I watched both TISWAS and Swap Shop I flicked for the good bits.

I vaguely remember TISWAS as being really good but of course it finished when I was three so I could be wrong. After this I watched number 73 with sandy togzfig (sp?) as.... [thinks hard] "Ethel" and there was something about making sandwiches. Strangley I do remember the phone number for swop shop as being 01 811 5055 (is that right?) oh well my vote is for TISWAS

01 811 8055 But not bad for someone who can't have been too old to see Noel's jumpers every saturday morning.

To be honest I dont remember it from that. I remember it from its successors right up to Going Live. The number (as I recall) was the same for all of them changing to 081 811 8181 for Live and Kicking when the numbers changed (adding a 1 in at the right time of course) hmm I wonder waht they'll use now its 020....

Ahh Tiswas! That brings the memories flooding back! Most Saturday mornings in bed, the t.v. tuned in to Tiswas at the foot of the bed, mounds of toast, pots of tea, my hubbie and all his mates who'd slept over from our Friday nights out, also on the bed, watching Tiswas. All the boys letching after Sally James.....

Oh! Mis-spent youth!

I reckon they should put re-runs of Tiswas on UK Gold! My kids just don't know what they missed!

Did anyone watch O.T.T. when that was on? Do you remember the balloon dancers?

Me watched OTT... ~grin~... never a patch on Tiswas though...

No! It wasn't the same without Chris Tarrant making the small kids burst into tears or pulling them up from under the table by their ears!

I think Chris had fallen out with Lenny Henry by this time which is why he wasn't on OTT. It wasn't the same mayhem without him or the kids!

Never been a show like it since... one of a kind me thinks... ~sniff!~

All the more reason to get it on UK Gold on Saturday mornings!!!

Ah, Tiswas, yes... I have a copy of the Four Bucketeers album if anyone's interested!

ME has the single... ~grin~... me didn't know they made an album;...

Oh yes, there are all sorts of greats on the album... "Water Is Wonderful"... "Compost Corner"... "The Dying Fly"... and the little kid who dressed up in a rabbit suit and sang "Bright Eyes" really badly...

Oh my... ~Greebo wipes a tear away~... such nostalgia... ~Greebo flops onto her back and starts waving all for paws into the air... then stops fopr a while then continues~

You missed your cue there... when I said "Compost Corner" you were all supposed to shout "Compost Corner!" back at me...

~Grin~... me is staying away from smelly subjects... as some folk around here are hinting about a smell that comes along behind me...

I didn't realise the "Four Bucketeers" had made an album. *Gets jealous coz she wants one*

What a shame I can't copy it onto tape or CD for everyone, because that would be illegal...

Oh yes... totally naughty that would be... ~grin~
