Luckier than Columbas! I stumbled in one day while reserching Triumph motorcycles {guide entry on the speed triple came up on a Yahoo search} and found the promised land. So far, I've wandered around getting the lay of the land, had wonderful conversations with witty and insiteful people, and generally felt more at home than I have in years. Really. To finally have a space where I can launch thoughts and ideas without looking over my shoulder for the chaps with the butterfly nets is refreshing.

I know what you mean I found this place through a friend (the guy who made the first version of this guild as it happens) and I stuck around as I found I fitted in. I've been here for years now!

Wow, an "Old School" member!!! I'm honored by your reply sir. This is exactly the reason I love it here. No pretentious snobs or self absorbed a-holes mucking up the fun. Something tells me, years from now, we'll both still be here, and thats the type of continuety that provides the needed grounding point in life.

Unfortunately a lot of people who were on when I joined have dissapeared, but it is the way of things!

Maybe they got lost in reality, an affliction of the aged {or anyone who takes life TOO seriously} A shame, but so is life, both real and cyber. Heres to making new ones. And on an off note, I just visited The "Thingites" and I must say, those folks have issues! As for myself, I'm never Really sure what day it is.....nor do I care

wouldn't say that too loudly; the Thingites seem to have ears everywhere in h2g2! I recently joined the Thursdayites (popularly known as the anti-thingites), just for the fun of it! Still if there are any people out there who will never take life anywhere near serious I'd say the Thingites get close!

NO THANK YOU!!! The very thought of the paperwork involved, not to mention the bills from the lawyers{just initial here, here, here to infinity} its enough to curdle the milk I had earlier{with my iced oatmeal cookies}

I've given the cookie/world domination idea the benefit of further considration. For us to acheive success, we need to take a page from the government and other great shysters throughout history and disguise our true objectives. In short; Open a chain of bakeries and also a chain of health and fitness centers. This way we control both ends of the chain and thus success is virtually guaranteed! Oh, we also get to eat cookies while we watch nubile young ladies get all "worked up", a sweet perk indeed.
