Yeah - no matter what they say about security, the record companies will always find a way to fix things in their favour. Still, the good thing is that it's so easy for anybody to release a cd these days, and very cheap too. If Skandal have the kind of following you've told me about, they could qite easily get into the charts, and one song in the charts at the right time is what can often break an act into the big time. We might even end up with their cd's in our store here in Texas

Well they do have some American fans already, how I have no clue considering Skandal have NEVER even been over there, let alone to promote themselves! Never mind, for me that's cool cos I know they're at home here never far from me

They are planning an international release soon, I'll let ya know. You'd better promote them! If you want me to record more of their song and send it to you (cos I didn't send you much of a clip last time)

Nope, haven't got it yet. The store where I work is a used cd store, so the band would have to sell some cd's first, and then have people sell them to us (and who'd want to sell a Skandal cd? Unthinkable )

I'm hoping to see Skandal in Brent Cross tomorrow but hearing what people who saw them in Manchester yesterday things weren't too good-one member, James, has come down with food poisening and they said he didn't look too good, so I hope he's better by tomorrow!

I almost over slept but then someone else who was going there requested Champagne Highway on the radio so it woke me up luckily

It was a fab day! James looked fine (both meanings of fine that is ), and I LOVE the other song they performed, "Tell Me Cinderella"

The tune and dance routine are ACE!!!!!!!! I also had a banner saying "big up 4 da Skandal massif!" which I waved around like mad! Their tour manager recognised me and I think Matt saw it as well

It's moving day today. Almost everything's packed and ready to go, the only thing that we're worried about is getting all the fish and the fish tank to the new place in one piece (it's a big tank). Wish us all luck

I've got this little program on the computer where you can cut and paste parts of a recording onto another, clever huh? I played it to another DJ today and he says maybe I should upload it to my website (which can be found here at http://www.geocities.com/katsy4skandal ) Skandal should hear it, I'm sure they'd find it very funny! (and Matty lurrrrvs Britney Spears so I'm sure he'd appreciate it LOL)

We moved from north Austin to south Austin. Got a really nice apartment, and all the fish made it in one piece (so did the tank thank heavens - the roads here are in a dreadful state). It's new year's eve and I have the day off, but I have to work tomorrow morning ..... but not until 10am
