I would just like to take the opertunity to say, the information you gave there is not true,
Infact, paramedics do care about there patiants, St John Ambulance transport patiant to which they have dealt with in an emergency,
and gone back to the hospital to see how the patiant is, so before you go slagging paramedics off, I think you'd better fine the truth out first...
and paramedics are not in the job to get on televistion or the papers, they do it because they want to help people, I know, because I am a St John Ambulance cadet in the UK...
Thats all I have to say!!

I would agree that it's not true, and that only a heartbroken medic could probably written such a frightningly true assessment of the job. I have personally spent time in an ambulance with the technically dead, and sometimes as hard as you try there may be no remedy. Often the truth hurts, and is usually not pretty.
I am no medic, but hold respect for all who try.
Keep up the good work. Smile when you can, and laugh when you can't cry.
It helps to keep some good jokes written down(and toys for the little ones.)
Two guys walk into a bar...
You'd think the second would see it and duck!
