A low-scoring week, with lots of 0-0 draws and some rather unusual names on the scoresheets. No big changes at the top, and Egon top scores for the second week running with 12 points, aided largely by Terrence's hat-trick.
At the bottom, things are a lot more interesting. Riotact made a credible attempt at a weekly best, clocked up 11 points and has overtaken Demon Drawer to leave the team of Stephens (and Roberts) at the bottom. About time too!
Cup results, then:
2 + 2 = 5 (Andy G) - Bye
Steve Robinson United (DD) -2 - 5 Jossies Giants (Blickybadger)
Athletico Aardvark (Magwitch) 8 - 6 Professor Psyc's ER Reunion (Psycorp)
Brett Angel's All-Star XI (Egon) 12 - 3 Forbes Phillipson's Masters (Number Six)
GuignOL's Band (Riotact) 11 - 8 The Istvan Kozma Superstars Take 2 (alfredo marquez)
Kurious Oranj (GreyDesk) 8 - 10 Geronimo Girondins (Sprout)
Ayr On A G String United (BlueBrasilian) 10 - 10 The Grimley Town and County Lavatorial Committee FC (Snockerty Friddle)
(So Long, And Thanks For All The) Fisch XI (Bottletop) 8 - 2 MycaK XII (McKay)
So, a few cup upsets, and the second round will have to wait until we resolve the Snockerty Friddle - BlueBrasilian replay. To prolong any suspense that may be present, I'll leave the second round draw until that is done.
One final question: is Psycorp going to transfer off Jermaine Pennant, or is he keeping hold him 'just in case'?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
