Denise lewis didn't enter all seven of her events at the Olympic trials, she only entered 4- shot put (came fifth), 100 hurdles (didn't reach final), long jump (7th) and Javelin (4th).
And obviously you don't consider Christine Ohurougu, a student who has only recently given up netball to be an athlete, qualifying for the olympics in the 400metres, beating her PB by 2 seconds, her pre-this-year PB by 5 seconds and winning the trials to become GB's first choice 400m runner in Athens to be newsworthy....
