A Conversation for Mohs Scale of Hardness

Hi, This is a great entry. Good work! I studied and worked as a geologist so I've heard about the scale before. A couple of ideas to improve (although its pretty good already):
The list of 10 minerals could be in a list rather than sentance. For ease of reading. I don't know if that GuideML has anything that would help there. Just text if not.
It might be worth a mention as to why the 10 minerals were chosen over other minerals. I don't know for sure but I think they were the easily available ones. Available to a geologist that is.
One last thing might be to say what the scale is used for. In uni we were taught it as one of the methods to identify an unkown mineral. Along with colour, reaction to acid etc, you can give a guess to a mineral in the field.
Hope that is of use. Good work on the entry.

Thanks for that information; I'll try to think how to incoroprate those ideas.
Actually, I would have liked to have put the information into a table but don't know how to do it in GuideML. Like you, I don't even know if it's possible - I'll ask an ACE.
Thanks again
