ska is rock with horns?

May be i'm just being picky, but if you are going to discuss categories of music - then you need to get them right. ska originated in jamaica in the mid-1950's- and its music derived from original mento rhythms with american/blues jazz. it is not rock with horns - as the most important thing is the off-beat, which ska emphasises. There are alot of so-called ska bands which infuse ska/punk/metal, but by no means is this original ska music. At this point in time, i think we're on the third/fourth ska wave, at risk of diluting it even further...maybe you should re-name it ska/pop, ska/punk, ska/even s**tter!
