Pepper was in fact on Parlophone – the first Beatles album to be released on Apple was the White album.
You also missed out the ‘Paul McCartney’s dead’ that is supposedly audible by playing the run-off groove backwards…

It was also thought the cover showed the Beatles looking into a grave…
