I just want to say that redundancy can be a good thing for some people and then not for others.
Examples
My daughter is 7months pregnant with her second child, she was made redunant 2month ago so as she was leaving work anyway she benefitted.
She got a nice redundacy package plus as she was finishing anyway and not going back after the baby is born it was just like extra money in her pocket.

Now my ex husband just found out yesterday he is to be made redundant on the 31st of July.
Ok bad for him hes 51 so his chances of finding work again are virtualy nil, also bad for me cause that means he will be round here more often than he is already(he just comes to walk the dog..so he reckons..DONT LAUGH)
I do feel sorry for him but I feel more sorry for myself.
I know I shouldnt make fun of redundancy but I mean it in a good way honestly.

But if you are affected by redundacy I do sympathise with you honestly and GOOD LUCK to.
