This entry was written based on my recent personal experience of the island of Mallorca, and was helped greatly by friends and relatives of friends who know about the island, and in some cases, live there.

I have some comments:

You could cite A695414 (Great Islands) somewhere.

I am afraid the graphics will have to go in the Edited version...

Isn't it 'duas cervezas, por favor'

I miss some historic blah-blah, like when was mallorca habited, do the people there feel like they are 100% spanish or do they aspire some autonomy (like the canarias, or corsica).

Isn't 'mayonnaise' the dish that napoleon brought to Europe while he was ''liberating'' Mallorca?

Hmmm....


Alternatively, you could rename your Entry to: 'Tips for Tourists in Mallorca' which I think would be more suitable for the present content.

But then again, it's just me...

Hooray, a Geographical Entry!

I agree with Hell on a possible title change.

Also, you'll have to take out the first-person references as it needs to read a bit more impartially.

Also (last one I promise ) you might have to give a date if you are going to quote an entrance price, as Entries last a long long time (we hope).

(And there you have my humble opinion...which isn't worth much given that I have been a bit slow recently on doing entries myself!!)

I agree with the title-change idea, as suggested by Hell and seconded by Jules. It's either that, or add in a lot of historical/geographical/sociological detail to keep s like me happy...

You could also link sunscreen to A804124. Which I wrote after I came back from a holiday in Majorca. Lovely sun, ugliest country I've ever seen.

Hmmm.... our author doesn't appear to have been around for awhile -- it will be 2 months come this weekend.

Do people think this one is close enough to be picked in its current state? Or should we be planning a move to the Flea Market?

Every time I tried to think of something to write on the forum it sounded argumentative, and I didn't want to annoy people. I took note of changes and made them, and then I went away, so I haven't been around to make comment or do further editing. So this is just a note to say hi, I'm back, thanks for the comments, and I'm around if you want to give me any further notes.
