If we take the theories of the almighty DNA, then when something odd like this happens, and somehow or another, in some loop or another, the universe should cease to exist, the universe will instantly disappear, and something even more bizarre and inexplicable will take its place.

Now, this works, because, you see, if the universe should cease to exist, or get caught in any loop whatsoever, it would disappear, never have existed at all, and something even more bizarre and inexplicable will take its place.

I'm running on nothing but caffeine and a good steak, so that might not have made any sense. But, you know, I tried.
