Well, I have to say that that was powerfull. I'm a big fan of Jim Morrison. When i thought about his grave I always thought, "I don't wanna go there. I don't want to even think he's dead." My fear was that what happened to you, would happen to me. Kudos to you my friend.

Blew Lizard Underwhere

I've never visited Paris, but I have always intended to see Morrison's grave if I were to ever go. Now thanks to your well written(though badly punctuated)piece, I don't think I will. What's to be gained but a feeling of intrusion?

I am a huge fan of the Doors and Jim Morrison and really admire your honestly. Your article has not necessarily disuaded me from visiting the grave, but it has brought a sense of reality rather than pilgrimage to the experience. It has also reminded me that, yes it is a cemetary that is still in use and to be quiet and respectful when entering the site. I would hope that others that read your article will feel the same!
Well done!
