Hi B'El, thank you! You never know - I may be travelling a bit more with my new job (and I am always on for a meet-up whereever I go) so if I am in your area (or vice-versa) I would be delighted to meet up with you!

Well, my area is Frankfurt/Main, so if ever you're near I'd be glad to meet up (and maybe arrange for a few other German researchers to meet, too.
Maybe I'll make it to Ireland one day, but I'm not very optimistic.

Regarding Ireland, I must keep putting photos up on my blog then! Give you a little taste of the place..

Oh, it's not that I wouldn' want to go to Ireland. It's just that there'll hardly be an opportunity to go. It's rather expensive going there, let alone staying there.
I've been researching magazines etc for ages. I once went to the Irish Tourist Office here in Frankfurt to get some more info. Sadly, I can't afford a holiday in Ireland.

Yes - I can understand that. This country is very expensive. It takes a lot of work to get around here cheaply. Oh well, I'll still post up photos when I get a chance. It'll give you a possibility to see the place virtually if not physically at least.
