Hi,
Had a bit of a wander, and found this. What do you lot think?
Its certainly concise, and there isn't much more to say about wheelie bins, except maybe that they have two wheels and a lid.
I've left a message for the author.

Oh and they're good for pushing your mates around in when you're plastered and covered in kebab.

Back to the entry?
I rather like hyper concise articles, but there is a lot more to say about wheelie bins: what they replace and why, the clever way that dustcarts lift them up, the joy of steps (no, not the dance group!) those lovely sticky back plastic pictures you can buy from catalogues to 'camoflage' your wheelie bin, the wheelie bin cleaning companies that are spring up around the neighbourhood, how hard it is to get something out of a wheelie bin without falling in, etc etc
(Cloviscat: get a LIFE!)

There's never been anything wrong with a nice Shish Kebab with copious chilli sauce; how dare you suggest otherwise!
Oh, and for the record, I wasn't the first to mention them... I merely made a humorous Spoonerism thereof.

Aaah - but you talked about being covered in plaster - a sore point since my living room ceiling fell in

Fair enough. Sorry to hear about the ceiling business; I once had that happen to me at school. My best friend had to be taken to hospital because he was hit on the head by a chunk of plaster. Luckily he was fine, but in my opinion missed a trick by not suing.
So, have you got the builders in, then?

I am getting thoroughly plastered even as we speak! It's going to take a while to dry though, so it'll be happy battleship grey for a while.
Luckily there was no-one in the room when it feel - I have no doubt it could have been fatal - don't even want to go there - eeuch!
...have we hijacked an inappropriate strand AGAIN?

Personally I like a bit of topic drift - keeps everything colourful.
Hope your ceiling looks lovely
So do you reckon I should drop this one then? I think the Author has done a runner - there's been no activity from him/her since 19th Feb - so there isn't much chance of implementing your (quite correct and pertinent) suggestions, and I haven't got time to write a new entry myself.
Your wisdom is, as ever, humbly appreciated.

I think there's probably entries more deserving of your attention, so - forgive me - bin it?

OK... I felt compelled to try and revive this subject. It may not be quite so concise.
Please leave comments on the new entries Thread.
