A Conversation for Daleks

This is an awesome introduction to one of my favorite villain types. It's very amusing, and so very true. Daleks should get an award for being the most charmingly incompetent villains of all time.
You might include a section on the "Dalek Legacy." Other television shows and movies have benefited from the creation of the Daleks by imitating some or all of the original concept. Most commonly, you see some sort of containment suit housing an otherwise fragile alien. A good example of this might be the aliens from the American movie Independence Day. Another example is the Vorlons from TV show Babylon 5, mysterious creatures wearing large impractical suits who don't speak much. The difference is that Vorlons are actually quite intelligent.
Also related are the Borg from the Star Trek franchise. The Borg are half-human and half-machine. The drones say such intelligent things as "You will be assimilated!," "Resistance is Futile!," and "Comply!!" The drones are not very bright, but an intelligent queen masterminds their efforts and can be seen as a sort of Davros figure.
I'd also like to nit-pick by pointing out other ways to escape Daleks:
* climb up a tree or pole, or go up a ladder
* put a towel over their "arm" so they can't see you or shoot at you
* confuse them sufficiently. They might just turn into green goo.
Also, groups of Daleks yelling "Exterminate!" rotate their arms and/or wheel around in an agitated fashion. This is apparently a sort of menacing behavior, but really it just makes them look even more pathetic.

I think we should take a minute to pray for the Daleks and hope that one day they might be able to climb ladders and stairs.
The next stage of the Daleks will be legs!

O.K, Maybe you're right, but could you imagine a walking Dalek...it would be a laugh - of course it would cause problems for the guy inside...
Yes i like the fish!!
