A Conversation for Colwyn Bay
How depressing!

I know Colwyn Bay quite well (although I'm NOT a resident) and, whilst I must concede that the Bay is acquiring something of a reputation for being rundown and seedy, I do think that your analysis is a tad negative.
Yes, I fully realise that the town is not what it was in the 50s, but what seaside town is? And there are solutions; for example, Rhyl seems to have finally turned the corner and is now successfully regenerating itself. I think the Bay could do a lot worse than taking a leaf out of Rhyl's book and attempting to move away from a holiday town image.
