hmm I dont know, but there could be many many species (insects for example) about we don't yet know, thus they could be dead without us knowing it.

it's even greater tragedy if we didn't know about them. I mean just looking at the environment we know yet, and it's infinite beauty, jsut trying to imagine that there's even more to it, i think it's awsome.

ermmm... surviving that unnatural stuff we're using all the time is not 'survival of the fittest'. you can only say this if this modernization happens realllllllllyyyy slowly, say 10 million years. so they would have some chance to get used to it. evolution didn't happen in 200 years...
