Hmmmm! Not sure I agree with any of this at all!
While he has indeed fullfilled his promise to withdraw Spanish troops from Iraq was this not promised to ensure election at the polls?
Cynical I know but this entire situation is fueled on half truths and deception.
I've never been convinced as to why Iraq was invaded in the first place but it has been and we now have to take responsibility for our actions. I do not believe walking away is the answer for any nation involved in this. I think our politicians have a lot to answer for but I really don't think that any ordinary Iraqui is going to be very concerned about this if they see their family dying for want of more troops to protect them while we sort out the mess we've made. Sadam was a monster. Let's not emulate him through indifference and neglect.
