Motorcycle fuel tanks

3 Conversations

Why do the locks on motorcycle fuel tanks only freeze when you have no petrol, and you are late for work? :-(. I don't know the answer... I am sure that there is physics involved somewhere... something like the air in the fuel tank (because it is empy) freezes more readily than a full fuel tank (less air), and thus causes the lock / cap to freeze.

On the same(ish) subject.... Why is it that perol station attendants are so bloody smug, when they offer you a kettle of hot water to help open the fuel tank! ><>

IT's all a conspiracy by that government to try to destroy motorcycling in the UK. Remember if a politicians' lips are moving... he's lying! c :-)
