Much more simple than its cousin the GPL it is also more lenient, allowing any use of the licensed software and its offspring. So a BSD product may be taken and given a different, even a closed source license as long as the copywrite notice is attached to it. I may return with more, or let someother bod talk Until later....

while it is good to have the complete license in the tread for discussion, it would bve better to have the link in the page.

There are some serious problems with this license, but it is sometimes the best license to use.
