Every time you go away, you take a piece of meat with you
(Someone dreadful)

And you come to me on a submarine
(Bee Gees)

"Near, far, whereever you are, I believe that the hotdogs go on"
- That Titanic song.

"Living Is Easy with nice clothes"
- Strawberry Fields Forever instead of "Living is easy with eyes closed."

You can call me TC

Every time you go away - I think that may have been Dusty Springfield. So some respect should be due.

My little son comes up with some good ones, not intentionally:

"How do you spell "Jump"?" - instead of "Might as well jump"

And "Life is a rusty toaster" instead of "Life is a roller coaster"

And there is a group round Reading way who sing covers and put no end of wrong words in on purpose. You can only tell they're doing it, if you really know.

I can only remember two off hand:

"Do you wanna Dance" At the end it goes "I can do the twist", and so on, naming various dances.

Their version was "I can do some chips"

Then the Beatles' "I saw her standing there"...... Their version: "I never danced with her mother, till I saw her standing there."

Anyone know the group and what they call themselves? (I don't, you see, so I can't tell you. They're friends of my sister's)
