I can't believe the near-coincidences between yours and mine recent life story Greebs 
I first met TM in h2g2, and persuaded him to get onto ICQ so that we could chat We didn't meet IRL until the end of October, but it was only a few short weeks later that we let the cat out of the bag (sorry about that!) to our close friends here in h2g2land! TM asked me to consider moving in with him fairly soon afterwards, and I, of course, said yes! He 'Officially' asked me the same time as you! That is 1/1/2000... but we were already wearing rings by then
Who says that all who sit behind a computer are boring and have no life!
I am happier now then I have ever been before, and I am sure that you are too
