I wonder if you know that Adam is mentioned in the Quran as the first human being and first prophet. There are also some Islamic traditions about him.
I can't remember much, except that Eve isn't blamed for Adam's mistake! (I should see where I read about this before.)
Now, let me go to the Council of Nicea article you mention above...
