EvilClaw: The Catmanthing

Woooo!

In the movie Terminator 2, how did the Terminator played by Arnold Schwarzenegger figure out that the t-1000 had killed John Conner's stepmother and taken her place?

Lady Pennywhistle - Back with a vengeance! [for a certain, limited value of Vengeance; actual amounts of Vengeance may vary]

smiley - rolleyes
Well, I looked it up.

First of all, it's Siegfried, no Siegried, but I'll let that slide because it's just a typo. smiley - tongueout
BUT there's the Norse myth, where she was a valkyre imprisoned in a mortal body and then subjected to what seems to be a combination between Sleeping Beauty and a really crappy soap opera (and where Siegfried is really called Sigurðr Sigmundson), and there's the Wagner version, which is slightly different...
smiley - headhurts
I'm not getting into all of this. Here are the relevant sources:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brynhildr
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Der_Ring_des_Nibelungen

I didn't find any relation other than marriage in my skimming of these articles, unless you mean that thing she had with Gunnar/Gunther, who was the brother of Gudrun/Kriemhild, who had a thing with Sigurðr/Siegfried, even though it actually wasn't Gunnar/Gunther but Sigurðr/Siegfried who just _looked_ like him...
Told you, soap opera stuff.

I think this counts as a complete answer, anyway, no?

T.B. Falsename ACE: [stercus venio] I have learned from my mistakes, and feel I could repeat them exactly.

Well, as I am the very model of a modern Major-General, I've information, vegetable, animal and mineral, I know the kings of England and I quote the fights historical, from marathon to waterloo, in order categorical...and I know that a policeman's lot is not a happy one.
