Well Bramwell Lane will be hosting Championship football next season as their appeal against the Hammers has failed

It's an absolute outrage. I used to like West Ham, mostly because of the number of Hammers fans I knew who were all good people and great football fans.
West Ham deliberately and knowingly broke the rules and then lied about it. They avoided a points deduction, against all precedent. Middlesbrough were relegated in 1997 after being deducted points for failing to fulfill a fixture after injuries and flu took out almost all the first team squad. AFC Wimbledon got a huge points deduction over a mix-up over signing a player who had played in Wales (and therefore needed international clearance, which wasn't obtained because of an oversight).
And now, to add insult to injury, West Ham appear to be throwing huge sums around in transfer fees and wages. I hope they go down next season, and I hope the Blades replace them.
But in the meantime, we'll have Phil Jagielka for Everton, thanks.
