This has to be one of the strangest reasons for a match date being changed I've ever heard. Preston North End v. Bradford City was scheduled for October 6, but it's now had to be rescheduled because that date clashes with the Conservative Party Conference in Blackpool, and the Lancashire police can't spare enough officers to cover the game!
Honestly, is there NOTHING the Tories can't mess up?

Well, I was a bit surprised that the Lancashire police thought they needed ALL their officers to keep the Tory conference delegates from wrecking Blackpool.
