Hi! I, like you, have an interest for the stars. I have a pretty not so good but okay telescoe. You might have heard of it, it's a Meade ETX-60AT. Where I live theres not a lot of light polution, so I have quite alot of chances to look at the stars whith my telescope. I haven't seen that much yet, because theres not alot of planets out, deep sky objects are almost impossible to find, I have seen a glimpse of one though....

Hi there,
Yes, I have the same problems with Light pollution as everyone else. There is a hotel (& night club) behind my house, and they use intensive sodium lamps during the night, so the chances of me seeing anything are minimal.
Still though, when the ISS or the Shuttle pass over it's usually very easy to spot.
