Flu: Enjoyable Cure for.
Created | Updated Jan 28, 2002
Take 2 lemons, and squeeze the juice outa them. If you're too sick to do this, or have too much liquid streaming out of your face, have some one else do it for you. Please don't let the liquid from your face get into the juice.
Pour the juice into a large glass, and pour an equal amount of natural honey. MUST be honey, NOT sugar, or any other sweet substitute. Stir weakly. If you can stir vigorously, you're obviously not sick enough, so get back to work you sluggard!
Pour a can of ice-cold beer into the conoction.(yes, I thought you may like this one. Apologies to beer purists). Drink slowly, lying full length on a comfortable sofa, while watching TV. Finish your drink and slowly droop off to sleep. By morning you should be feeling better. Be sure not to drink beer while taking other flu medication.
Repeat cure as often as possible until flu is gone. Be sure not to wet the sofa. Be sure also to take meals at regular intervals. Contrary to popular opinion, beer is NOT a substitute for solid nourishment.
