Just Rob, please

In fact you've only hit apon half of the idea - you missed the Isle of Man, and of course the Celtic Dependant Nation of Patagonia. This would obviously be used as a test site for our nuclear war heads, and launch areas for our space programme. And as claims grow for a reuniting of the Celts a small land bridge would be formed up the side of England to link Wales and Scotland. The tidal energy created from this massive structure in the Irish Sea would power and empire. Since we would have so much spare energy we would import it to other countries, complete with a "terminator gene" so that all their electrical equipment would crash at an arbitary date. Let's say 1st January 2000, so that no-one suspects that it was us. We would be the only ones left. We would never lose at rugby again.
