Well, since we can't use the yo-yo, I've done more research, and I have come up with a plan: we go to the restuaraunt at the end of the universe, and there we tell them how awful Isty Cruhop was at being President, and how he ordered the execution of 100,000 grillion people. You see, Isty Cruhop is the only other person running for Presidency against Jack. So then, everyone will go back in time (and presumably most of them will have methods that do not involve being in a stunt ship as it dives into the sun) and vote for Jack. And the only immoral thing we did was lie like heck!

Let me paraphrase:
We convince everyone in the Resturaunt at the End of the Universe to vote for Jack to rescue the world from a massacre worse than that which was experienced during the Krikkit wars at the hands of Isty Cruhop, Jack's only competitor.
