It's because they're so brilliant. Especially Tresor Kandol. I never said he couldn't hit a barn door from three yards.

Any chance of a Pools Panel for someone who was going to post his predictions on Friday but suffered a terminal computer error before he got the chance?

England 3-0 Israel (WRIGHT-PHILLIPS, Owen, Richards)
Italy 0-0 France (--)
Scotland 3-1 Lithuania (BOYD, Danilevicius, McManus, McFadden)
Sweden 0-0 Denmark (--)
Wales 0-2 Germany (KLOSE)
Well that's better
I remember I did say that internationals often give folk the chance to rack up some points, and so it came to pass. Last week's comfortable winning score of 9 points this week would have put you in the pack with the average players and nowhere near the weekly win.
This week also sees the first Full House of the season - 6 of them
Megachedda, me[Andy]g, son of riotact and Nirvanite have one each. With Ormy, the greedy so-and-so coming in with a brace.
This pair of Full Houses gives Ormy this week's win with 17 points, and fires him up the table to third place.

Torrenting with confidence? Well, maybe. Now that I've got a super-whizzy 550W PSU, I'm more worried about my electricity bill.
The problem arises from my purchase of a new CPU cooler, which I bought to replace the one which sounded like a vacuum cleaner being started up. Of course, using the 'new simple connection technology', I couldn't anchor the bleeding thing onto the motherboard. And, after replacing the new cooler with the old one, the whole PC neglected to boot up properly. So, it's either a damaged motherboard or a damaged processor. £100 of repairs either way.
Pools Panel if I haven't posted my week 6 predictions by the deadline please.

A CPU cooler that doesn't? Hmm... that's got the potential to go very bad very quickly. I've seen some video clips of what happens when the heatsink and fan are removed from over a processor whilst the PC is in action. It tends to end in a little puff of smoke
