Gatanists

1 Conversation

A Gatanist is a devil worshipper - much like a satanist, with the distinction that the devil in question is called Bill Gates. A gatanist not only uses Microsoft Windows, but actually likes it. He or she will vehemently defend the platform, and when confronted with any suggestion of the superiority of a rival operating system will respond with a ridiculous and completely untrue criticism of that OS.

A gatanist's favourite saying is, 'It's not a bug, it's a feature,' and in extreme cases might attempt to convince people that the Blue Screen Of Death is in fact the latest in fashion screensavers. They may also suffer from the delusion that pentium processors are the fastest available.

Real life example: My brother, who is a potato-stealing gatanist, came by a few hours ago and displayed the gatanistic talent of finding the most trivial thing to pick on. He complained that the iMac uses the 'Wild Eep,' sound, and tried to imply that the mere inclusion of that sound meant that the MacOS had not changed or improved at all since the introduction of the wild eep. He thought it a lack of progress comparable to windows 2000 starting with a DOS prompt.
