I was munching away on my lunch this very afternoon, when I saw the BBC pronouncing a few of the Love London awards, something put together by this new local radio station, London Live. Best Londoner, sadly enough was Red Ken, which is odd, since he hasn't actually _done_ anything yet.
What really made me smile was best tube station went to Mornington Crescent. They didn't say why though. Interestingly enough (no, really, it is) this has the effect of raising the Becks' constant by three for the remainder of the month. Any subsequent awards on Northern line stations will have a similar, cumulative effect, so watch where you put your tokens.
