You are looking for fellow experienced exponents of the game for a demo for the further education of the public. Providing you are not a player of the Tim Brooke-Taylor underhand school, I would to willing to take part in such a demo.

I am indeed a fair player and seek only to enhance the public standing of this great pastime. Still, two players is not a lot - if you find any more, point them in the direction of this forum.
My first move is the ever popular Baker Street.

Ah, Dr. Watson, I detect the Sherlock Holmes opening here, must quickly knock him off stride.

So, you are a better player that I thought! I've managed to find some more players - they are coming over from http://www.h2g2.com/forumframe.cgi?forum=15602&thread=22457 . Why not go over there, and read about my idea for a non-Euclidian version of MC.
Since you seem determined to stop attacks on the western flank, I shall evade you by trambling over to Euston.

Aha! Just in time! I declare the circle line to be in Vorderman, and sidetrack to Hounslow East, playing TWO magenta tokens!

DOUBLE! with a twist. Taking the conundrum Richard for 10 points and a tight game to, Hinault.

If I may be so bold...
I reroute via Picadilly, using the Prof Henriquet variation, passing both of the apple oak tickets (thus re establishing my hold on the Eastern bi-flank you'll note!), and placing one half of the board in Qzk4per.
Rather nifty I think.

(Interesting... I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops - you seem to have left Baker Street in spune...)

Well according to Volume 23 of the rules, appendix ZZ plural Z Alpha. If the Prof Henriquet variation has been played, Bakerloo and Victoria lines become wild.
So I'll put a blue token in the pot, turn around 3 times, sing rule Britania in Serbo-Croat and move to Stonebridge Park.

Fools! Don't you realise that by playing the Prof Henriquet Variation - which was of course only possible after the Eastern Orthodox Reformation - the currently spruned Baker Streen will act as a gateway to NE3 for the next 2 moves! I therefore declare "Earthquakes in East Acton", and collect my bonus of 2 becks, to be paid in unmarked loose change.
You see? That is what you get for playing obsure variations of which no-one has ever even heard!

PS- I would still be willing to barter a copy of the Rules - bidding is now at 3 dud AAA alkaline batteries, a red baloon, and a 3/8 full packet of meusli (with the dried pineapple pieces taken out).

Sorry, I forgot to metion...I move to Westminster, which puts me on the Circle and District line - and there is nothing that you can do to stop me! Ah-ha-ha-ha-haaaaa!

Sorry are we talking the pre or post privitisation of London Transport rules applying on this game. I just may have been using the wrong bedside table to refer to for my moves and gambits.

You who laugh at Henriquet, (his incredible yet wild theories are still way ahead of his time even now), have obviously failed to see through the rest of my plan! By using his Socio-Recognitivity Formula of '62, the spuning of Baker street actually becomes a bi-negative re-turbo event, and thus all collected becks actually reanimate to Kleeks for the next three turns! (Pity he who does not study the old masters you impudent fools!).Thus, I may play St Johns Wood without the prior risk of a District and Central collapse. So I will.

Hainault. Bridges wild, overpasses tame. Willy Rushton's ashes to Turnpike Lane. Three red (Pantone 032 TM) tokens and a used Biro in the pot. Thank you.

Note: I recently read a particuarly interesting piece by Von Edgar Krupfuluplle II, dating back to 1933. Although his ideas upon re-capitalisation of the vertical matrices never really gained momentum when they were published, and were completely abandone after the privatisations (for obvious reasons!), I think they now warrant a fresh look from the new generation, with our newly capitalised railways.I especially appreciated his thoughts on oughts on the topography of a North Ealing - West Acton crossing, in relation to a 'total nid lockdown' situation. Back to the game...
Woh! This has completely thrown me, my initial reaction was to comsider a retreat back to beckton with my giblets between my legs and to hell with the consequences! But now I think I see your game so I will cautiously consolidate my position on the Victoria line, by playing Lipney, and raising you two used biro, and a nibbled one.

There is only one possible reposte. I go Monument and match your raise with two biros, one of them green.

Touche! I'm not liking the way this one is turning out, but I will take a gamble and lock the Picadilly line down by playing Leicester square and taking all biros out of play. I appreciate that this leaves me vunerable but 'He who dares wins...'
We shall see....
