Makes sense.. I'll just take "Wumbie" as the top 15 reeasons, then reasons 34-48, 56, 72-134, 136, 139, 142-144, 150-268 and still pending on reasons 300-397....

The vodka and Red Bull incident.
The giving Jamie vodka incident.
The Holyrood Tavern incident(s).
I can keep going, you know

Well whatever the first 396 reasons are, 397 would be the outside chance of me turning up and being the token foreigner.
All depends on whether I can scrape enough money together to pay for a train ticket, two meetups last month hit the coffers pretty bad (that's coffers and not Wumbie's liquid red kryptionite )

Ah, excellent, a foreigner... we haven't forgotten our threat to call you "Johnny" all night.
More reasons: the "no ball games in Princes St Gardens" incident; the "digital camera in gents'" incident; the "drunk and disorderly in an internet cafe" incident (that's one for the old-timers)...

Perhaps i should check my diary again... I may have double booked myself and be unable to come along to the meet

Well, Wumbie was a big part of the "projectile vomiting in the Edinburgh goth-rock pub" and on the same night the "I'm pretty sure that I put Wumbie on the train to Newcastle insteaad of Glasgow" incident.
The numerous "Football gear" incidents and "failure to charge the mobile phone" incident (also one for the oldies) are the major ones I can think of as me being responsible for. Unless you blame me for the "vodka & Red Bull" incident, which I clam was equally as much fords' own fault for trying to keep up...
