If people are interested, I'm happy to give 'em a ring and find out?

"Oooh, going back to Zagreb's point re the bowling. I phoned up Megabowl who were happy to accommodate us but wanted £5 deposit for each person. I don't have the cash to do that, I'm afraid, so what shall we do?"
When do they need the deposit for? I'm sure something can be arranged.
I'd rather do the bowling than anything else. My playing (if not my technique) has improved immessurably based on last time (the fact I was in a foul mood back in November probably didn't help either ).

Yeah, it was the shock wave when the ball landed that knocked all the pins down.
Is the spider still alive?
I'll be there!
Mister Matty Posted Feb 14, 2004
I'm not going to eat it. It's not kosher.
However, the fate of Mr/Mrs Spider will be detailed in my blog at http://www.livejournal.com/users/zagreb2 for those who fear for their nerves.
It won't be too exciting. Most likely to be "out the window" or "flat on bottom of shoe".

Well, Eggy does say he doesn't fear no cavespider
Nah, I wouldn't put a poor wee spider through that. I might just squish it.

"Full of protein, them little critters"
Well, Eggy's a big lad...
I'll be there!
Dr E Vibenstein (You know it is, it really is.) Posted Feb 14, 2004
No! Raise it as your own. See if you can get it to talk.

Then you can make loads of money as "the man who raised a spider as a human".
I'll be there!
Mister Matty Posted Feb 14, 2004
I'd imagine it can't talk, EV. And I can't imagine spiders would have much to say anyway. All they care about is catching flies and hiding in my shoes. Neither of those are conversations that interest me.
I might teach it to tapdance, but so much time with so many legs!
I'll be there!

Spider-man!
Sorry, these bottles of Reef are going to my head and I've just had a heavy session with my 'doctor'...
