I don't quite know what happened but this suddenly aquired a not for review tag and the orginal PR conversation disappeared. Any help guys?

Er, it was picked for the Edited Guide That means it doesn't need to be in PR anymore.
Actually, there's no reason for it to be in PR. Scouts can't pick entries that have already been recommended, which this has.

So if you could kindly remove this, that would help the scouts in their continuing search for good pieces in the over-crowded Peer Review.

You should also have noticed that the original Peer Review thread has been attached to your private version of the entry. At its end, it includes the message telling you it has been picked, along with some congratulatory messages. You should also have received an e-mail, advising you that the entry has been picked.

However, it is understandable that, if this is your first Edited Guide entry, that you did not fully appreciate quite what happened. No damage will have been done if you now remove the entry from peer review, and change it back to 'not for review', so that it can inadvertently be submitted again. (It is also customary to post a thankyou message when the congratulations have been received.)
