This entry is good.
You overuse the word "also". Try and tone it down a bit.
the guy who pops round your garden, while your away -- remove that comma and change your away to you're away.

He then went on to present the coverage of the Chelsea flower show in 1983, he has gone on to present this show every year right up until the present day. -- this is a clumsy sentence. It's got a lot repetition, including repeating the word "present", and then uses "present" in a different meaning later. Rephrase the whole thing.
