How to I elevate an old topic, that I revised, in my listing, so that I can see what responses it may generate?

Articles have a fixed order (numeric!) unless you delete/hide or replace them. Forum threads bob up and down with new posts or absence of them.

I do not see any option to add a smiley. What I did did was request updates.

Ah. Surprised no-one posted back to this. Guide entries are different to conversation forums, as they always appear in the order in which they were created. Unfortunately, this means you won't be able to change the order of your entry, all you can do is delete any entries you no longer need.
