Can you Please Help me I'm being Hounded By a researcher 23662 He won't leave me alone His other H2g2 name is HOT-ROD he is putting Lie's up about me in his journal's i HAVE never met him Plus he is accusesing All my friend's on here of being me wich Is another Pack of Lie's and he won't go, away he has his friend's mesg me and he but's in my personal convos to my friend's He just won't go I've sent in email's of complaint's about him But still not 1 reply off any of you And not a thing Has been done about him He is realy Upsetting me I don't like being nasty Toward's anyone but he is Putting my real name on all his journal pages about me And i have tried to sort it all out with a friendly manner And i just Cud not take it any longer So i got angryI didn't mean to use bad word's but he just won't leave me alone He also Put a journal up on his page with my h2g2 username on it and he Just dosn't know when to leave woman alone He has tried realy hard to Cause Trouble for me on here and he log's in as women's name's and also he got about 13 other research Number's on here I don't know what his Problem is at all This site used to be a great place a way for me escape my own Problem's of family life and I made load's of new friend's But now It's a horrible place he even mesg my ex bf and Told him lie's and he split me and him up I have got a good friend Hleping me He ha a PC and has pressed the alert mod on each mesg he send's me but it's No good he still Come's back in other name's I can't take it much more Can some1 please help me I've had enough he LEFT a MESSAGE on my page like this ???????????? I have tried to Talk with him Tell him I'm not Intrested in his Mesg about my Friend's what they do with there lives in there Time is them And who and who they talk with is No concern of mine either and i try be nice and ask how he is But no that's not Good enough he Has come back to Cause more trouble
I just want him to leave me alone this Time for good Can you please please help me i don't know what ealse To do I just want to be left alone to talk with my friend's and get on with Haven a nice TIME on here.

I know I may have jumped on your back about some of your msgs on here, but differences aside, I agree with you about this Phil person!
I think he is very desperate for messaging all the times that he has, & I think what he is doing is wrong!
I think all you can do to REALLY get away from him is re-register & don't tell any1 who you are, I know u shouldn't have to do this, but i think it is the only way, & also, just don't reply to ANY of his messages & don't talk ABOUT him, although I know it must be difficult as u want to defend yourself, but just bite ur tongue!

Some of the H2G2 editors ARE aware of some of the threads he is posting to you, so if u must post to him, be stern but not abusive & then when he messages you back in his usual overbearing way, the Editors will see for themselves wot he is like & they can deal with him!

I can't help you directly but I do have some general advice. The points about retaining your own dignity and yikesing anything which actually breaks the HouseRules (for which giving out your personal information should qualify) are valid. However, there is no point in being upset beyond what you can do about it immediately and it will be bad for your health in the long run. So take some time to do something else you enjoy for a while, eg gardening, swimming, reading a good book, watching a funny film, listening to music. Ideally it should be an activity which is a physical or emotional release, eg makes you laugh instead of being cross.

I feel much better now that you know about It thou It's taken a weight Off my shoulder's now I didn't wanna Snitch BUT i had to as it was maken me unhappy and nasty with my friend's and I'm not like that with my Real friend's most them I know in real life OFF here and I do have a laugh with them.

This may all be some ridiculous misunderstanding over identity. Whatever the truth is (and I can't possibly know) it seems from your messages that neither of you particularly wants to talk to the other but just for the postings to stop. So I have a suggestion:

Please, both of you ask whichever people are your personal friends not to involve you with each other in conversations any more either. This ought to include journal entries and pages giving names, addresses or phone numbers. Note that I am not saying either of you have necessarily done this at any time, but that it would obviously be better not to do it in the future.

I agree with SEF here. You obviously seem to not want to talk, so don't. Just stop. It's not that difficult.

Fair enough you're both likely to read what the other person is writing, and who wouldn't, but leave each other alone?

I'm sure as SEF says, there's more to it than we'll ever know, or want to, but h2h2 has always managed to maintain a relaxed and friendly atmosphere amongst it's users and I for one would like to keep that.

Some of the postings relating to this matter are in breach of the House Rules, especially the parts regarding harrassment and flooding, but we only tend to fall back on the 'Rules when things get out of hand. I can only hope that things are not that bad yet.

On a side note though, why block capitals? The internet equivilant of shouting.
