Okay, I want some orange text on my page, basically the same orange as the Alabaster subheader text. I tried 'orange', but that was too plae, and then searched through Waz's colour chart and chose 'darkcolour2' but it's come out red! What should I do?

Well, there's another way to specify colours in guideml: using its HEX code.
Basically, therre are six digits. Any digit can be between 0 and F (0-9, A - F)
The first two digits are the red part, the second are the green, and the third are the blue.
The colour code for the orange you want is #FF6600 - as much red as you can get (FF) a touch of green (66) and no blue (00) {I got that from doing "view source" on an alabaster page in my browser}
You can just put #FF6600 in place of where you were putting orange.

Well if Pearl was using A529715 - Waz's guide I inferred that she already knew that

I didn't know about waz's colour chart. I figured it just had the names on. Sorry! I wasn't trying to show you up, honest - I just thought that a little more explanation was needed - actually I wrote most my answer before you posted, and then you got there first, but I didn't want to just delete everything.

I'm trying to become a guru myself, but there's always something I get wrong in guideml, usually leaving off the /!
