Hi TV's Frink!
I'm just about to work on the music right now. Hope it works!

Mike A (snowblind) Posted Dec 20, 1999
Yea, it works!
Kickass!
Let's mosh like the crowds at Donnington to ATSS.

The Ghost Of TV's Frink Posted Dec 21, 1999
Er...well, I don't know what Donnington *or* ATSS is, but works for me!
*thrash thrash stomp*
By the way, there wasn't any music playing when I opened the mosh pit up.......I do see four links, but the last two don't work. I was able to download from the first link - it was a .mov file that had sound but no picture........

ATSS=Afraid To Shoot Strangers.
The link should take you to a 1 minute clip of the Iron Maiden concert at Donnington in 1992, but for some rason they don't work for you.
I got them out of my Temporary Internet Files. I only clicked on the forst one and it worked so I assumed the rest did too.
The only problem I can think of is that I typed the addresses in wrong. I'll check it out.
*'eadbanging!*
I had my hair cut on Fridayso I don't have a massive fringe to thrash round anymore
Sorry 'bout constantly posting in the newsletter forum.

Mike A (snowblind) Posted Dec 21, 1999
Yea, I reckon that I've typed it in wrong.
I'll sort it out as soon as I can.
When Wratchild and Killers finish (after playing with no problems whatsoever), an error message pops up saying "an error occured with a plug-in inside this page". as I'm not very technicaly minded I don't have a clue what this could mean.
Hey, bit empty in here innit?

Have you mentioned the pit to anyone you are friendly with at h2g2? Adverts can be effective if done right - just ask Bluebottle about his Beach & Waterworks!
Don't worry about the newsletter thing - I was on edge because I was posting from work! I did the exact same thing in the Think Tank forum for the POST a few days ago

In Aces High, don't they something about
"Jump in the cockpit and start up the engines,
Roll down the windows there's no time to waste(?)"
Who's seen the video of Cream's Farewell Concert? At the end of Sunshine Of Your Love there's a good few people doing a great job of headbanging, and that's what I've based my style on.
Here I'll show you!

Great thing about this is that you can never get tired of headbanging, so long as you change the music every now and again.
Which is why I'm going to give you all the opportunity to listen to what choon you want to listen to in this mosh-pit! Yes you!
"What is real? Futureal!
What is real? Futureal!"

Umm, well unless you give me a handy link or two we'll be stuck with Iron Maiden. Not that it's a bad thing, but I am so narrow minded when it comes to metal. I've promised myself I'll check out Slayer, Samson and Wolfsbane though.

Slayer can be fun - especially with the Dante references!!

Great lyrics as well! Let's see what I can remember...
"Illusions of a mind insane,
Fantasy and reality ARE THE SSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMEEEE!"
"Nothing can survive this drug induced warfare,
Having control of princaple obsession.
Expendable you fighting for posession,
Fighting is only afriad(?)"
OK, what's the score on that and the Aces High lyrics?
Knowing me, I'll probably draw a link or two between Slayer and The Secret Of NIMH. I mean, it's already been done with Iron Maiden and The Sex Pistols!

I used to be a Beatles fan. When I was in primary school. Then the whole music thing died out with me for a while. Then I discovered Eric Clapton in August of '98, and then Iron Maiden on the 2nd October '99.
This Pit is really bugging me. There's no future for it. I had a few ideas on expanding it but I've forgotten them. If anyone has links to metal/punk bands with websites as good as Maiden then for Frith's sake tell me!
