What memories do you have of that time, when you were growing up in post-war Britain?
Can you remember going to the corner sweet shop with the ration book, going to bed when it was still light in the summer and hating those kids who were allowed to "stay up"?
Did you throw a rope over the bar on the lamp post and swing round?
How different kids games are today! We even made our own go-carts out of old push chairs and boxes, and faced death each time we came hurtling down a hill. (If you were lucky to live on one)
