A Conversation for Predicting the Future

mankind's role

Thinking about the future, the most important question I can se is about our mankind's role in the future. Will mankind still be mankind as we know it or will we change to the better or worse? Will we maintain some sort of human moral codex or will we all be liberalized until it's okay to kill your parents if they bug you somewhat? Or perhaps, will we show more solidarity and friendship to each other? When everything changes around us, will mankind remain the same? Have we always been the same? Are we constant?

Well, according to Darwin, we have not always been the same and I believe we are just in the middle of the evolution believing we are at the end of it (or not in it at all, that is for some). So we will evolve to whatever fits the situation best. The positive thing about it is, that we don't have to think about it or about the things to come. We will beshaped like a stone in the river.

Well. I predict that yes, mankind will stay for yet some time, but it's gonna be a whole new race, (maybe someone has already thought of this?) I believe the 'white' race has played it's part and the new one is gonna be a 'mix'. (Don't misunderstand, no 'racism' intended)
Is this completely and utterly wrong, or could you actually buy it?

I wonder what we would all gain if such a "mix" would become a reality. What we right now is shouting our throuts out to make people understand is that there are no differences between the races except for the color of our skins. This new race would be just the same as us but in a new color (not to bad though).
And this evolution thing. As I recall from school evolution is a very slow process that happen over hundreds of thousands of years. Seems to me keeping up with todays progress would be kind of hard to such a snail. Things just happen to fast for evolution to keep up. Unless, of course, the next stage of evolution is that the object race starts altering itself...
