Oh My Goddess!! Almost hypnotic, it grabbed you by the essentials and dragged you right in. The whole episode leaving you emotionally drained!! Outstanding!! (The Scooby Gangs Willow)
Incredible television, the lack of incidental music coupled with some superb acting from both Sutherland and Gellar made this very special. Buffy visibly aged in the opening sequence and hte weight of what was to come was encapsulated by the simple device of Buffy's inceasingly childish calling of her mother. As Will has said, impossible! However, it is also a beautifully played moment in which Benson and Hannigan were typically superb. It is not easy to play a corpse for starters and in addition she retained in death that peace she conveyed throughout while Hannigan convinced entirely.
